Clearly communicate common Team goals and outcomes when meeting individually and document Team members' feedback. Meet regularly with the Team and set goals collectively Foster recognition and appreciation within the team Encourage peer-to-peer feedback Recognize and reward demonstrations of accountability Be approachable and accessible to all team members Use conflict resolution skills to address problems within the Team quickly. Help individual team members understand their strengths and contributions Encourage Team members to participate in identifying ideas/solutions to challenges. Take an interest in each Team member's professional growth Track and participate in team members' training Interview applicants and look for the skills and experience that can best meet the needs of the people you and your team support. Ensure your Team Lead and other EP!C professionals orient and train new team members to meet everyone's interests and programmatic goals. Assess new staff members' skills on an ongoing basis and address any weaknesses or concerns identified in their ability to perform the job as a DSP or Team Lead. Monitor that all staff meet performance expectations and address concerns in a timely manner to assure peak performance for individuals served and other co-workers. Hold all staff accountable for assigned responsibilities and meet with each staff member at least monthly to review performance feedback and develop a plan of correction as necessary. Perform all payroll/personal tasks as assigned within the timelines given. Track tardiness and absences Process PTO requests Create Schedules Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's level Diploma preferred One year of management and supervisory experience required. Experience and skills in team building Skills in coaching and training others Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing Ability to work independently and with others Strong leadership and administrative skills Ability to achieve goals through others Excels in training, leading, and motivating people Effective Time Management Skills Be able to perform CPR/First Aid. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Able to pass a criminal background check. Obtain/maintain standing as an Authorized Direct Support Person for medication administration. Possess a valid driver's license and automobile insurance. Frequent walking and sitting. Regular reaching, grasping, and standing Ability to lift 50 lbs. Oversee the care and services for people with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities in assigned community-integrated homes in EP!C Community Living Services Program. Ensure all individuals have a safe and clean home environment. Maintain the homes in compliance with rules, regulations, and agency policies. Promote a meaningful work environment for employees. Recruit and train staff members, and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, careers, and other community contacts.
