We're currently seeking a high-performing Leasing Manager to help lead an active lease-up at a 600+ bed, by-the-bed student housing community near the University of Illinois in Urbana, IL. This is a standout opportunity for a leasing leader who wants real ownership over the leasing engine, including marketing, social media, and the leasing calendar, while helping build a fresh on-site team after a recent management transition. With a hard leasing-season deadline and strong earning upside through commissions, bonuses, and short-fuse incentives, this role is ideal for someone who can drive traffic, close at a high level, and lead from the front. Responsibilities Own and execute the leasing calendar to hit aggressive leasing-season goals Lead marketing and social media efforts to drive traffic, tours, and signed leases Coach and oversee a small leasing support team, including community ambassadors Convert leads, conduct tours, and close leases in a high-volume student environment Partner with site and regional leadership to improve leasing performance during a turnaround period Qualifications 1+ year of leasing experience in student housing or high-volume/luxury multifamily Prior experience mentoring, training, or leading leasing staff, or readiness to step into a first manager role Strong marketing mindset, including comfort with social media, reviews, referrals, and outreach Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities during peak season Ability to pass a standard background check Perks Earn up to $55,000 in total compensation (base plus bonus and commission potential). Additional leasing-season bonus opportunities, including short-window flash incentives Light weekend rotation (about one to two weekends per month) with overtime available Full benefits package including all major insurance, 401k, and PTO Work for a nationwide company that can offer growth and stability
