This role ensures strict adherence to regulatory requirements while managing staff, resident relations, inspections, and asset performance. Property Manager Job Duties Oversee daily operations in compliance with HUD, Section 8, and LIHTC regulations Ensure compliance with HAP contracts, regulatory agreements, and LIHTC extended use requirements Supervise leasing, recertifications, and occupancy management Lead preparation and response for REAC inspections, MORs, and LIHTC audits Monitor file compliance, reporting deadlines, and corrective actions Manage operating budgets, rent collections, subsidy payments, and financial reporting Train and supervise staff on affordable housing compliance standards Address resident issues, lease enforcement, and evictions in accordance with program and local laws Maintain strong relationships with owners, PHAs, housing agencies, and compliance partners Property Manager Job Requirements 3-5+ years of affordable housing property management experience, including LIHTC In-depth knowledge of HUD Handbook 4350.3, Section 8, and LIHTC regulations Proven experience managing REAC inspections and LIHTC compliance reviews Strong leadership, financial oversight, and compliance management skills Proficiency with property management and compliance software Preferred Certifications Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) Certified Public Housing Manager (CPHM) Fair Housing Certification
