Wesmont & Glen Ellyn, IL Schedule:
Full-time Tuesday-Saturday; Weekend availability required
Hourly Rate:
$23.00 - $25.00, based on experience

Position Requirements Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Two or more years of residential property management experience or a related position in customer service, hospitality, or sales.
Travel:
Minimal local travel between assigned communities.
Physical:
Frequent walking, stairs, standing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds. Valid driver's license and reliable, personal vehicle required for travel between communities. Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation is a plus! Banner Property Management is looking for an Assistant Property Manager to support two apartment communities: Quincy Station Apartments in Westmont and Glenwood Station Apartments in Glen Ellyn. In this dual-site role, you'll partner closely with the Property Manager and serve as a steady, professional presence for residents, prospects, and teammates at both locations. This role blends customer service, leasing, accounting, and operations. It's ideal for someone who is warm and approachable, organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing a variety of responsibilities. You'll assist with accounts receivable, renewals, leasing, resident relations, and administrative functions that help both properties perform at their best. What You'll Do Support monthly rent collection, posting, and resident notifications Assist with delinquency management, move-out charges, deposit accounting, and reporting Tour apartment homes and assist with leasing, lead follow-up, and application processing Help coordinate renewals and maintain accurate resident files Enter and follow up on service requests to ensure resident satisfaction Contribute to marketing efforts, outreach, and online advertising Maintain renters insurance compliance and support community programs and activities Communicate professionally with residents, prospects, and team members Exercise good judgment and act in the best interest of the community and Company What We're Looking For Strong administrative and organizational skills Warm, friendly communication style and customer-focused mindset Ability to connect with many different personality types Experience in property management, hospitality, customer service, or sales Comfort with a fast-paced environment and shifting priorities Why Banner Property Management At Banner, we recognize that our business is about people, so we make people our priority, and home is a place that offers comfort, security and a sense of community.
