Job Description

We are a small full-service property management company specializing in off-campus housing near the Northwestern University campus. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing leasing activities, fostering positive relationships with prospective and current tenants, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations as well as overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of all our properties.
Responsibilities include:
All aspects of leasing - set up / conduct showings; follow up on leads; advertise (on social media) etc. Oversee daily operations and management of residential properties Address tenant inquiries / concerns /maintenance requests with maintenance Coordinate move-in / move-out processes, including inspections Enforce lease terms / address any violations or disputes that may arise Knowledge of property management principles, practices and laws Effectively able to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree At least 5 years experience as a Leasing Agent/Property Manager or similar role in real estate management Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, contractors and internal teams in English to facilitate smooth operations Leadership, problem-solving abilities and comprehensive understanding of building systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills Ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues in timely and professional manner

Monday - Friday and Saturday mornings
Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
