Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Community Manager to support the daily operations of our residential community. This role assists the Community Manager in ensuring smooth property management, maintaining high occupancy levels, and delivering excellent resident experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to handle administrative tasks, customer service, and property oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Community Manager with daily operations, staff support, and resident relations. Respond to resident inquiries, process applications, and prepare leasing paperwork. Support marketing and leasing efforts, including tours, renewals, and competitive market tracking. Process rent payments, deposits, and assist with collections and reporting. Help prepare budgets, financial reports, and maintain accurate records in property management software (e.g., Rent Manager). Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure homes, common areas, and grounds meet property standards. Enforce company policies, safety standards, and compliance with housing regulations. Step in to oversee operations in the Community Manager's absence. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred). Previous property management, leasing, or customer service experience. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with property management software and MS Office Suite. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Work Environment:
