Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Apartment Manager and take charge of overseeing daily property operations with energy and enthusiasm! In this vital role, you will be the driving force behind providing exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth property management, and fostering positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff. Your leadership will help create a welcoming community environment while maintaining compliance with housing regulations and maximizing property performance. Duties Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations Oversee leasing processes using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite, including data entry, contract creation, and filing Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, and other legal standards Handle tenant screening, lease negotiations, rent collection, and conflict resolution with professionalism and tact Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment Conduct regular inspections to monitor property conditions and address any issues promptly Maintain accurate records of contracts, legal documents, incident reports, and resident communications Requirements Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on LIHTC or Section 8 programs Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative procedures Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus Excellent customer service skills combined with effective phone etiquette and conflict management abilities Ability to negotiate contracts and upsell amenities or services to residents effectively Office experience including data entry, filing, and administrative support tasks in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated skills in facilities management, property leasing, and tenant relationship management Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism under pressure This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead vibrant communities while honing your skills in property management.
