Job Description

Assistant Property Manager - Apartment Community We are hiring an Assistant Property Manager to support a multifamily apartment community . This role assists with leasing, resident relations, property operations, marketing, and administrative tasks to ensure a well-run and welcoming community. Responsibilities Conduct tours and assist with leasing to prospective residents Support rent collection, lease preparation, and move-in coordination Maintain waitlists, newsletters, flyers, and community marketing initiatives Ensure compliance with LIHTC, Fair Housing, and company policies Assist with property appearance, grounds, pool, and common area maintenance Process service requests and follow up with residents Provide backup support for Property Manager and Leasing Consultant as needed Attend community events, vendor meetings, and local associations Qualifications 1-3 years of leasing, property management, or customer service experience LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) experience required. Knowledge of rental applications, leases, and property operations Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Requirements Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs; work indoors and outdoors Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Availability for weekends and special events Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
