$45,000 - $60,000 + Bonus/Commission Position Overview We are seeking a results-driven Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a multifamily community. The Property Manager will be responsible for maximizing occupancy and property performance, ensuring exceptional resident services, coordinating maintenance and vendors, and managing financial performance and reporting. The ideal candidate is experienced with Yardi and brings a proactive, customer-focused approach to leasing, operations, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute leasing strategies to maintain and improve occupancy and retention rates. Manage leasing activities including showings, application processing, lease execution, renewals, and move-ins/move-outs. Use Yardi to maintain accurate tenant records, process rent collections, generate reports, and support accounting functions. Coordinate maintenance requests, preventive maintenance schedules, vendor selection and oversight, and timely resolution of work orders. Deliver outstanding resident services by responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and fostering a positive community environment. Monitor property performance metrics (occupancy, rent roll, concession levels, turnover) and implement action plans to improve results. Prepare and manage property budgets, control expenses, review P&L statements, and produce monthly and quarterly financial reports. Train, supervise, and coach on-site staff to ensure service standards, compliance, and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, local, state, and federal regulations, as well as lease terms and property policies. Plan and execute marketing and outreach initiatives to attract prospective residents and promote the community. Qualifications 3+ years of multifamily property management experience Demonstrated success driving occupancy and improving property performance. Proficiency with Yardi or similar property management/accounting software. Strong leasing experience and a proven ability to convert prospects and maintain high renewal rates. Experience coordinating maintenance operations and managing vendor relationships. Solid financial management skills, including budgeting, rent collections, expense control, NOI and P&L analysis. Excellent resident services and customer relations skills with a focus on retention and satisfaction. Leadership experience with the ability to hire, train, and motivate on-site teams. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws, lease enforcement, and risk management best practices. Valid drivers license; property management certification (e.g., CAM, NALP, or CPM) or real estate license preferred.
