In this vital role, you will support the property management team in overseeing daily activities, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with tenants and vendors. Responsibilities Assist in managing lease or rental agreement processes, including tenant screening, lease signing, and move-in/move-out procedures Support property maintenance coordination by liaising with vendors and tracking work orders using systems like Yardi or OneSite Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant laws, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and Section 8 programs Handle customer service inquiries from residents and prospective tenants via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and record-keeping for all property-related documents, contracts, and legal administrative files Contribute to conflict management efforts by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally Assist with property leasing activities, upselling available units or amenities to prospective tenants to maximize occupancy rates Skills Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or comparable platforms Strong understanding of Landlord-Tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 housing programs Must be bilingual Experience in residential apartment administrative tasks including data entry, filing, contract management, and office procedures Excellent customer service skills combined with phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities One year tax credit experience is required Knowledge of property maintenance management practices Strong knowledge with LIHTC compliance requirements and Section 8 program guidelines Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, filing systems, and contract administration Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced office environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in property management while contributing to vibrant residential communities.
