Full Job Description Assistant Community Manager Location:
Havens of Abbeville, 2800 Rodeo Drive, Abbeville, LA, 70510 Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Community Manager to join our team at Havens of Abbeville. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties, strong customer service skills, and proficiency in Yardi property management software. This role supports the Community Manager in daily operations, leasing activities, and resident relations to ensure a well-managed and welcoming community. Key Responsibilities Assist in the management of day-to-day operations of the community in compliance with LIHTC regulations. Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Support leasing activities including showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements. Utilize Yardi software for property management tasks such as rent collection, maintenance requests, and resident records. Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident files and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the Community Manager and maintenance team to ensure the community is well-maintained and residents' needs are met. Assist with community events and resident engagement initiatives to foster a positive living environment. Qualifications Experience working with LIHTC properties and understanding of related compliance requirements. Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficiency in Yardi property management software. Leasing experience in residential property management. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in property management is a plus.
