Office Assistant Knd properties Baton Rouge, LA Job Details Part-time $20 - $21 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Office Assistant - Property Management Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Office Assistant to join our Property Management team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience in property management, leasing, or affordable housing is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the property management team. Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist residents, applicants, and vendors professionally. Assist with tenant files and property records. Assist with tenant income certifications and recertifications in accordance with affordable housing regulations as needed. Monitor deadlines and prioritize workflow to ensure timely completion of tasks. Assist with general office operations. Support compliance requirements for affordable housing programs as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in property management, leasing, or a property management office preferred. Knowledge of affordable housing programs and tenant income certifications preferred. Experience using property management software, including Buildium, OneSite, or similar platforms. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Preferred Skills Experience with HUD, LIHTC, or other affordable housing programs. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and recordkeeping. Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional demeanor.
