This person will help create a professional, welcoming, and well-run environment for members and guests while supporting the continued growth of the space. The role combines hospitality, office operations, event coordination, and member relations. You'll be involved in building the community and systems for the space from the ground up while serving as the primary day-to-day point of contact onsite. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys creating order, building relationships, and serving as the central hub of a busy workspace. The position reports directly to the Rigs Batture team. About Us Established in 2016, ben + burka is a boutique commercial real estate firm specializing in brokerage, management, and investments. We believe in the character and vitality of New Orleans and the neighborhoods that make the city unique. Our work focuses on thoughtful development and long-term investment in the local built environment. The Rigs Workspace is a coworking and private office concept we launched several years ago with our first location at The Batture. The Bywater location represents the next phase of that growth. Responsibilities Welcome and assist members, guests, vendors, and prospective members Manage incoming phone calls, emails, mail, and package deliveries Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and functionality of shared workspaces, meeting rooms, and kitchen areas Coordinate vendors, deliveries, building needs, and supply inventory Administer memberships, contracts, onboarding, and general member communications Give tours to prospective members and manage light sales follow-up Plan and coordinate community programming, including member events, corporate retreats, meetings, and private events Coordinate with janitorial and maintenance teams to ensure the space is consistently well maintained Assist with marketing initiatives, including social media and newsletters Support the continued growth and day-to-day operations of The Rigs Workspace community Who You Are Professional, personable, and highly organized Comfortable working with a wide range of personalities and communication styles Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-moving environment Responsive and proactive when member needs arise Clear and confident communicator, both in person and over phone/email Experienced in hospitality, office management, customer service, coworking, or community operations Comfortable using Google Workspace and learning new systems quickly Bachelor's degree preferred Available to work onsite full-time, Monday through Friday Compensation & Benefits Full-time position Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Application Instructions Please submit a resume in PDF format.
