Job Description

Job Summary:
The Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the quality of life for residents by providing resources, support, and community engagement initiatives. This role involves working closely with residents, families, and various service providers to address individual needs and promote a vibrant and inclusive community environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement programs and activities that foster community engagement and resident well-being. Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with social service organizations, healthcare providers, and community resources to connect residents with necessary support services. Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and satisfaction to inform program development and improvement. Organize and facilitate resident meetings, events, and workshops to encourage participation and feedback. Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, services provided, and program outcomes. Assist residents with applications for housing assistance, benefits, and other essential resources. Promote a safe and welcoming living environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, or related field preferred. Previous experience in resident services, community outreach, or a similar role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. Knowledge of social services and community resources. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems.
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual or multilingual abilities. Experience working in a residential community or nonprofit setting. Understanding of issues affecting residents in low-income or underserved populations.
