This pivotal role involves managing leasing activities, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, maintaining tenant relationships, and coordinating property maintenance. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to property oversight, possess strong administrative skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your leadership will help foster vibrant communities while maximizing property performance and tenant satisfaction. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and tenant relations to ensure high occupancy rates and excellent customer service. Manage lease agreements, renewals, and terminations with attention to legal compliance, including Landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations. Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite for data entry, reporting, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions and tenant information. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management activities to ensure properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all applicable codes. Handle legal administrative tasks related to evictions, lease contracts, and dispute resolution while maintaining strict confidentiality. Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify repair needs or safety hazards; work with vendors or internal teams to address issues promptly. Foster positive relationships with tenants through effective communication, conflict management, and upselling additional services or amenities when appropriate. Ensure adherence to Section 8 guidelines and other government-assisted housing programs; manage related documentation efficiently. Support sales efforts by promoting available units and upselling features that enhance tenant satisfaction. Maintain office organization through filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and timely follow-up on inquiries or complaints. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on residential properties. Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs, Section 8 housing regulations, and Fair Housing laws is highly desirable. Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, contracts negotiation, legal administrative procedures, and conflict resolution strategies. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in an office environment while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette; ability to negotiate effectively with tenants and vendors. Experience in facilities management or property maintenance coordination enhances your ability to oversee community upkeep effectively.
