This role requires hands-on property management experience with Section 8 or similar affordable housing programs , strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, and the ability to manage leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations on-site. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable serving as the primary point of contact for residents, vendors, and staff. Qualifications
- Property Manager (Bilingual Spanish/English) Required Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) 3+ years of experience in property management or affordable housing Direct experience with Section 8 compliance and Fair Housing regulations Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law and housing regulations Experience using property management software (Yardi, OneSite, Boston Post, or similar) Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills Strong organizational skills with experience in data entry and recordkeeping Preferred Background in facilities or maintenance coordination Experience working in residential or multi-family housing Prior sales, leasing, or upselling experience in property management Responsibilities•Property Manager (Bilingual Spanish/English) Manage leasing activities including tenant screening, lease execution, and renewals in compliance with Section 8 and Fair Housing regulations Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing questions, concerns, and disputes professionally Oversee property maintenance and facilities operations, coordinating repairs, inspections, and vendors Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance Maintain accurate records, contracts, and legal documentation Ensure compliance with landlord-tenant laws, Section 8 requirements, and local building codes Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support daily site operations Deliver exceptional customer service through professional phone and in-person communication Benefits & Perks Competitive compensation Paid time off and holidays Health, dental, 401 K Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Supportive, team-oriented work environment About Carr Property Management, Inc.
