Job Description

A multifamily apartment community in Lynn, MA seeks a proactive Assistant Property Manager or Property Manager who can manage the community autonomously. Responsibilities include property oversight, leasing, marketing, budgeting, financial management, and staff supervision. Annual salary between 60-75K depending on experience plus amazing benefits.
Essential Duties & Requirements:
Oversee property to the highest standards with a continual focus on asset preservation and enhancement. Continually focus on leasing and resident satisfaction. Regularly inspect the property and report service repairs. Ensure that the property meets or exceeds its financial performance targets and ownership objectives. Maximize revenue while monitoring and controlling expenses. Adhere to and communicate policies, rules, and regulations to residents, maintenance staff, and vendors. Maintain property promotional materials, expense reporting and budgeting. Other duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 3 years' experience of progressive property management experience, including leasing, staff oversight, budgeting, and monitoring expenses. Knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) requirements and regulations. Experience using property management technology such as Real Page, Yardi, MRI. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general office equipment. A proactive problem solver who is organized, detail oriented, and communicates with poise and tact. Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Physical Demands Able to work autonomously in a high volume, high stress environment. Must be able to walk around the property and climb stairs for inspections and apartment showings.
