Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our vibrant property management team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of residential or commercial properties, ensuring exceptional tenant relations, efficient administrative processes, and compliance with all relevant regulations. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help foster a welcoming community environment while maintaining operational excellence. Duties Assist in managing property leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and upselling available units to prospective tenants Support lease negotiations and review contracts to ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, and other legal requirements Maintain accurate data entry within property management software such as Yardi or OneSite, including tenant records, rent payments, and maintenance requests Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management tasks, ensuring timely resolution of repairs and upkeep of common areas Handle customer service inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy, fostering positive tenant relationships Assist in enforcing lease agreements and resolving conflicts through effective conflict management strategies Support legal administrative processes related to landlord-tenant law, including filing notices and maintaining legal documentation Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety standards and property standards Maintain organized filing systems for contracts, legal documents, and property records in accordance with data entry and filing best practices Skills Section 8 housing regulations, and Fair Housing laws Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for data entry and reporting Experience with legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law and lease documentation Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities Ability to negotiate lease terms effectively while adhering to regulatory guidelines Familiarity with property maintenance coordination, facilities management, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools Demonstrated administrative experience including filing, data entry, and office organization skills Knowledge of real estate administrative procedures including contracts, legal notices, and compliance documentation Strong interpersonal skills for customer relationship management and upselling opportunities Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as an Assistant Property Manager if you're passionate about delivering outstanding service, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting vibrant communities.
