About Charlesbank Apartment Homes Charlesbank Apartment Homes is a 48-unit property located in Watertown, is just eight miles from downtown Boston and within walking distance of Watertown Square. We are located right on the riverbank, which means our residents have direct access to kayaking and the bike paths to Boston and beyond. Your Opportunity as Service & Operations Manager As the Service & Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring Charlesbank Apartment Homes is a top-tier living community. You'll oversee property operations, maintenance, and resident satisfaction, helping to create a welcoming and well-maintained home for our residents. What you'll Do Oversee apartment maintenance and resident service ensuring timely and high-quality completion. Conduct engaging property tours for prospective residents, showcasing the community and its amenities. Lead and coordinate schedules for onsite activities. Manage preventative maintenance programs to maintain asset quality. Maintain community aesthetics by conducting property inspections, including grounds walks and light common areas and unit checks. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Oversee inventory, purchasing, and vendor coordination for property services. Conduct move-in and move-out inspections with residents, documenting unit conditions with photos/videos. Regularly review resident satisfaction scores with the team to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with Property Support Manager to ensure financials are completed timely and accurately. What you'll Bring (Required Experience & Skills) 5+ years of experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a related field. Extensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance. Experience leading and managing a team in a service-oriented environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month). Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery. Customer service mindset with a passion for creating a great resident experience. Experience with property management software is a plus.
What We Offer Competitive pay:
The annual salary range for this role is $68,000 to $75,000, with an additional 15% target bonus. Your final compensation will be determined based on your skills, experience, and how they align with the job requirements.

This position operates with a high degree of autonomy and ownership, serving as the primary onsite leader responsible for overall property performance and resident experience. An onsite presence is expected, and the role includes eligibility for an apartment benefit, subject to availability and approval.
