Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Property Manager for a vibrant apartment community! In this energetic role, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring an exceptional living experience for residents while maintaining operational excellence. Your leadership will drive leasing success, uphold compliance with housing regulations, and foster a welcoming community atmosphere. Duties Oversee all aspects of property operations, including collections, leasing, resident relations, and maintenance coordination to ensure smooth daily functioning. Manage leasing activities by conducting property tours, processing applications, and upselling available units to prospective residents. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, and other relevant legal standards. Maintain accurate data entry and filing of tenant records, contracts, and legal documents using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite. Handle conflict management and dispute resolution with residents professionally and effectively to promote a positive community environment. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management tasks, including scheduling repairs and overseeing vendor relationships through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Conduct regular inspections to ensure property upkeep aligns with safety standards and lease agreements while managing landlord-tenant law adherence. Skills Extensive experience in property management, collections, leasing, and real estate administrative functions with a focus on LIHTC programs and Section 8 housing. Proficiency in Yardi, AppFolio, or similar property management software; strong data entry and office experience. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, contracts negotiation, and legal administrative procedures. Excellent customer service skills with effective phone etiquette; ability to consistently maximize collections while maintaining transparency and trust. Experience with Baltimore City's Rent Court process and associated vendors. Skilled in conflict management, negotiation, and handling complex tenant issues with professionalism. Familiarity with property maintenance processes, facilities management practices, and CMMS systems for efficient operations. Strong administrative experience including filing, record keeping, data management, and legal documentation handling. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
