Health insurance, 401(k), paid time off About Real Property Management Gold Real Property Management Gold is a residential property management company serving private landlords and tenants throughout Southern Maryland. We specialize in managing single-family rental homes and are focused on providing professional service, strong communication, and reliable property management systems for our clients. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Property Manager to join our Lexington Park, MD office. This is a full-time, in-office position for someone who is organized, accountable, customer-service oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Position Overview The Property Manager will oversee a portfolio of residential rental properties and serve as a key point of contact for property owners, tenants, vendors, and internal team members. This role requires strong follow-up, clear communication, problem-solving ability, and the discipline to keep tasks moving from start to finish. Property management experience is helpful but not required. We are open to candidates with strong experience in retail management, hospitality, construction, contracting, customer service, operations, or other roles that require organization, communication, follow-through, and accountability. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of single-family rental properties. Communicate professionally with property owners, tenants, vendors, and team members. Coordinate maintenance requests, vendor scheduling, repairs, and follow-up. Review and enforce lease terms, lease violations, renewal timelines, and tenant responsibilities. Assist with move-in, move-out, and routine property inspection coordination. Help resolve tenant and owner questions in a timely and professional manner. Monitor rent collection, delinquency follow-up, and related account notes. Work with leasing staff on vacant properties, applicant updates, and property readiness. Maintain accurate records, notes, tasks, and documentation in company systems. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing rules and Maryland landlord-tenant requirements. Help improve internal processes, communication, and operational consistency. Qualifications Stable work history, including more than 2 years with a current or recent employer. Experience in property management, retail management, hospitality, construction, contracting, customer service, or operations preferred. Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks without losing important details. Comfortable handling tenant, owner, vendor, and internal team communication. Comfortable learning software systems and following established processes. Experience with AppFolio, Property Meld, LeadSimple, or similar software is a plus. Familiarity with Maryland landlord-tenant law is a plus, but not required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional property visits. Ability to work full-time in our Lexington Park, MD office. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience. Salaried W-2 employee position.
