Job Description

Assistant Property Manager Busy Property Management company is looking for a Assistant Property Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who can be more than just an employee, we need someone who actually cares about the company and it's success!!
Essential Functions:
The position requires experience with 500 units and more. Maximizes the collection of rents and monies due while maintaining resident records and property financial data. Assists the Property Manager in managing and maintaining the property. Facilitates aspects of the apartment leasing process. Responsible for administrative duties pertaining to general correspondence and resident files. Assists with rent collections. Assists the Property Manager in the oversight of eviction process. Responsible for processing renewals as directed by Property Manager. Monitors residential rent collections via AMSI reports, and keeps the Property Manager current with regard to any existing or potential problems. Promotes positive resident relations. Responds to resident issues and complaints. Communicates effectively with internal and external customers Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
2-5 years direct Property Management experience required. Supervisory experience Bi- Lingual a plus Strong sales, marketing, and customer service experience. Strong written/oral communication skills. Working knowledge of eviction law and Fair Housing mandates. Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
