Job Description

Leasing Assistant Overview
  • Support leasing operations by assisting with tenant inquiries, lease agreements, and property management tasks.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with housing regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional service to tenants and prospective clients.
  • Maintain organized records and assist with financial transactions related to leasing activities.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of leasing processes and property management systems.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry practices and regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to leasing managers and other staff members.
  • Assist in resolving tenant issues and ensuring satisfaction with housing services.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Handle tenant inquiries and provide information regarding leasing policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and process lease agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of leasing activities and tenant interactions.
  • Assist with property inspections and ensure adnce to housing standards.
  • Support financial transactions, including rent collection and payroll-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with the leasing team to address tenant concerns and improve service quality.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of leasing strategies.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling and correspondence management.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or equivalent educational background.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in leasing, property management, or related fields.
  • Preferred 5 years of experience to demonstrate advanced proficiency.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing leasing documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with tenants and team members.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to a dynamic leasing environment.
  • Knowledge of housing regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous.
