Job Description

Job Summary The Assistant Property Manager plays a vital role in supporting the management of residential properties. This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with property regulations, and maintaining high standards of tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a solid understanding of property leasing practices. Duties Assist the Property Manager in overseeing property operations and tenant relations. Handle property leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements. Maintain accurate records through data entry and management using Yardi or similar property management software. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies related to property management. Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, utilizing conflict management skills to resolve issues effectively. Support financial operations by tracking rent payments and managing delinquency processes. Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with vendors to ensure timely service delivery. Assist in marketing efforts to attract new tenants through various channels. Qualifications Proven experience in legal administrative roles or real estate administration is preferred. Familiarity with property leasing processes. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records. Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirable. Excellent conflict management abilities with strong negotiation skills. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing property management. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with tenants and vendors.
