GROUP HOME SUPERVISOR

Coastal Opportunities, a non-profit agency providing services to adults with intellectual disabilities, is accepting applications for Group Home Supervisor at a licensed home in Rockland serving 3 residents. We have provided support to adults in Knox County for over 50 years, developing many community relationships during that time.

Supervisory duties:

Ensure staff coverage to maintain a safe & comfortable home environment, management of residents' medical needs, oversight of care plans, approval of documentation and supervision of staff. The supervisor is supported by the residential coordinator and administration. We strive to engage our residents in preferred activities while teaching skills to provide increased independence. Direct care responsibilities :

Assist residents with daily living skills and provide skill building in the areas of home care, communication, money management, safety and community engagement. Staff are responsible for administering medications, maintaining a clean and safe home environment and documenting services provided each shift.

Qualifications:

One year of experience supporting clients in a group home setting. A valid Maine driver's license, your own vehicle and proof of insurance required.

Training:

We will assist you to acquire needed trainings. 40 hours per week, flexibility required.

Pay rate:
