About the Role The Affordable Housing Service Coordinator is a people-focused role supporting residents in independent housing communities. You'll connect individuals—primarily seniors and those with disabilities—to the services they need to remain safe, stable, and independent. This role offers a flexible 30-hour schedule based on your availability: Three 10-hour days, or Five 6-hour days (Monday-Friday) Key Responsibilities Connect residents to community resources and supportive services Assist with daily living needs such as insurance, budgeting, and in-home care coordination Assess resident needs and help develop service plans Support residents with applications and advocate on their behalf Coordinate wellness and enrichment programs Maintain resident records and required documentation Build relationships with community providers and partners Collaborate with property management to support a positive living environment Qualifications High School Diploma required; bachelor's preferred (or equivalent experience) Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred Knowledge of HUD programs and community resources is a plus Strong communication, organization, and advocacy skills Compassionate and service-oriented approach Why Join Samaritas At Samaritas, your work helps individuals maintain independence, dignity, and connection.
