Job Description
Looking for a reliable person to manage two short term rentals. The schedule fluctuates according to the bookings. The time commitment can range from 2 to 12 hours per week, although a "normal" week would probably be somewhere in the middle. One house is located in Central Lake and the other is located in Kewadin. Both houses are two bed, one bath and sleep 5. They typically take about 2 hours to clean. The Cleaning Window for both rentals is 11 am - 4 pm. Occasionally both houses need to be cleaned on the same day. Specific job responsibilities include Cleaning between guests Purchasing and stocking supplies Reporting any maintenance and/or issues that need to be dealt with Light landscaping (mowing, weeding, etc). Both lawns are very small. If there is concern about using a push mower we can potentially have this done by someone else. Opportunity for hospitality skills to flourish by going the extra mile to make the guest's experience special This is a great job for someone that is looking for a low-hours position (student, teacher, retiree, etc.). The perfect candidate is someone who is hardworking, creative, has attention to detail, and is confident and can make decisions. A problem solver that is not afraid of a screwdriver is a plus! This is probably not a great fit for someone that has another job, unless that other job is conduced outside of the 11 am - 4 pm window. Reliability and thoroughness is a must. Financial incentive for the right person that is ready to take on this responsibility.
