Responsibilities Manage lease agreements, renewals, and tenant onboarding processes with accuracy and professionalism. Maintain comprehensive records of tenant files, contracts, and legal documents in accordance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies. Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite to input data, generate reports, and track rent payments, maintenance requests, and occupancy status. Coordinate property maintenance requests by liaising with vendors and facilities management teams to ensure timely resolution. Assist prospective tenants through property tours, application processing, and upselling available units or amenities to maximize occupancy rates. Ensure compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, and landlord-tenant laws by staying informed of legal requirements and implementing best practices. Handle conflict management situations professionally by mediating disputes between tenants or addressing complaints promptly while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Requirements Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in property leasing and tenant relations. Knowledge of leasing and low income housing Organized and task oriented Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and customer relationship management capabilities. Office experience that includes handling contracts, legal documents, and coordinating maintenance or facilities management tasks effectively.

Duties Assist with property leasing activities, including scheduling viewings, processing applications, and upselling available units to prospective tenants Support lease administration by preparing and managing contracts, renewal notices, and legal documents in compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law Coordinate property maintenance requests, liaising with vendors and facilities management teams to ensure timely repairs and upkeep using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools Manage tenant inquiries via phone and email, providing excellent customer service and resolving conflicts effectively Maintain accurate data entry records for rent payments, lease agreements, and property inspections using Yardi or OneSite property management software Support compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations and Section 8 programs by ensuring documentation accuracy and adherence to program guidelines Organize filing systems for legal documents, tenant records, and maintenance logs to facilitate quick retrieval during audits or inspections Skills Strong knowledge of property management software such as Appfolio, Yardi or OneSite for data entry, reporting, and tenant tracking Familiarity with LIHTC, Section 8 housing programs, Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law to ensure legal compliance Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities Ability to negotiate lease terms, and handle contracts confidently Experience in property leasing processes, facilities management, and property maintenance coordination Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in legal documentation, filing systems, and record keeping Join us as a Property Management Assistant to be a key player in creating welcoming communities while advancing your career in real estate administration.
