Varies Employment Status (FTE) Full Time 1.0 Standard Hours 40 Job Summary The Sr. Administrator Community Impact Officer is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, strategic coordination, and implementation of the Community Engagement Department, including community outreach initiatives, Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training, Detroit Police Department partnerships, Reach Us Detroit partnership activities, stakeholder engagement, and community feedback integration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Community Outreach and Engagement Lead community outreach initiatives, events, presentations, and awareness campaigns. Build relationships with community stakeholders, residents, healthcare providers, schools, and neighborhood organizations. Represent the organization at community meetings, coalitions, and public events. Department Operations and Leadership Oversee day-to-day operations of the Community Engagement Department. Supervise staff, volunteers, and interns. Develop departmental goals, budgets, and performance measures. Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training Coordination Coordinate and support CIT training programs and partnerships. Monitor training outcomes and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Manage collaborative efforts with Reach Us Detroit and partner agencies. Monitor partnership goals, activities, and outcomes. Stakeholder Engagement Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships that advance the organization's mission. Engage government agencies, law enforcement, healthcare systems, nonprofit organizations, faith-based institutions, community leaders, and residents. Facilitate stakeholder meetings, advisory groups, and collaborative planning efforts. Build consensus among diverse stakeholders and strengthen community trust. Serve as primary liaison with the Detroit Police Department, WCCD and other municipalities. Coordinate joint initiatives, trainings, and community engagement activities. Community Feedback Integration and Continuous Improvement Develop systems for collecting and analyzing community feedback. Conduct listening sessions, surveys, focus groups, and stakeholder interviews. Incorporate community input into program development and strategic planning. Provide leadership with recommendations based on community feedback and emerging needs. Establish feedback loops demonstrating how community input informs decisions.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Public Health, Criminal Justice, Business, Management, Communications, or related field required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum five years of relevant experience in management or oversight of program management. Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

Demonstrated experience developing and sustaining strategic partnerships that support the mission. Proven success engaging diverse stakeholders across public, private, and community sectors. Experience facilitating coalitions, stakeholder forums, and community advisory groups.
