Job Description
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of an affordable housing community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining property rentals, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing property occupancy.
Duties:
- Negotiate and enforce leases and rental agreements
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi for efficient operations
- Manage Section 8 housing programs and compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and address their inquiries promptly
- Maintain organized office operations related to property leasing
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in property management or a related field
- Knowledge of property management laws and regulations
- Proficiency in using property management software like Yardi, or similar platforms
- Strong negotiation skills for lease agreements and vendor contracts
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve tenant issues effectively
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs is a plus This position offers a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
