Job Description

Local Property Management company looking for a property manager to be responsible for the direct management oversight of residential properties. The goal is to maximize asset value, customer satisfaction and revenue. This position will primarily be in the office handling the administrative tasks associated (receptionist duties, answering phones, placing work orders, etc.) but there will be a portion in the field (about 20%) traveling. Candidates should have their own reliable transportation and be willing to travel (company does provide mileage reimbursement). Responsibilities Manage many aspects of assigned properties Answer office phones and communicate effectively via phone and email Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants and owners Advertise and market vacant spaces to attract tenant Skills Work experience as property manager is a bonus Fully understand property management and its financial aspects Knowledge of rules and regulations surrounding property management Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software Customer focused and bottom line orientation Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills Well organized with excellent time management skills Ability to work independently, as well as on a team
