Job Description

The Access and Crisis Supervisor will manage our facility and community-based crisis service teams to ensure immediate support to individuals experiencing mental health crises & emotional distress. This Master's level social worker will also provide direct services include conducting assessments, de-escalating crisis situations, and providing appropriate interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of customers. Develops initial service plans, presents treatment recommendations and links customers to appropriate services. Ensures adequate liaison with other community services such as jails, courts, schools, hospitals, police departments, and DHHS. Provides crisis services to individuals wherever they are; including home, work or anywhere else in the community where the individual is experiencing a crisis. Provides crisis on-call and after-hours consultation to staff as assigned and supervises coverage.
Qualified candidates will possess:
Master's degree with LMSW licensure and at least 5 years' clinical experience in community-based mental health services, including crisis intervention & response. Demonstrated leadership skills to carry out supervisory tasks and function as a member of the team. At least one year of supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to provide effective crisis stabilization services to youth and adults. Driver's license with own transportation to deliver services in locations throughout Van Buren County, that may or may not be barrier-free. [Mileage reimbursement provided.] Position is full-time (37.5 hours per week) during regular office hours of 8:30am-5pm.
