Resident-Student Ministry 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars 5100 Belding Road NE, Rockford, MI 49341 Part-time Ada Bible Church 5 reviews Part-time Ada Bible Church is looking for Student Ministry Residents to join the Lifeline team. As a resident, you will gain invaluable experience and hands-on training in many aspects of ministry to middle school and high school students. You will participate in planning and running student ministry programs, small group leader coordination and care, overall curriculum and events. Bi-weekly on Tuesday afternoons, you will get to meet with ministry residents at Ada Bible Church for spiritual formation, leadership and ministry development. This is a part-time temporary position offered up to 20 hours per week for August 2026 - May 2027 ministry season, with potential for extension.
What you will do:
Plan and run weekly Lifeline programming with campus team Be involved in Lifeline team meetings, project meetings and planning teams for events Assist with care and training for Lifeline volunteers Assist in writing and editing teaching curriculum and small group leader trainings Facilitate small group leader trainings at campus a few times throughout ministry season Grow in personal leadership through book studies, workshops, and goal-setting conversations Additional opportunities; Facilitate and run short-term student groups, teach Lifeline curriculum to students on a few occasions throughout ministry season (teaching and spiritual practices, assist in writing spiritual practices and small group questions, campus care etc. Who we're looking for: We're looking for individuals who are passionate about learning to lead, build, and develop a thriving student ministry. To be considered for the position, you should have intent to pursue vocational ministry as a career and be a junior or senior in a degree granting program or within two years after receiving your undergraduate degree. Formal education in Biblical studies or ministry is preferred. Beyond that, ideal candidates are: Actively pursuing a vibrant relationship with Christ, building it on prayer and a Biblical foundation Humble and willing to receive regular constructive feedback Committed to investing in Lifeline volunteers and helping them disciple their student small groups Able to communicate to students and leaders with clarity Interested in growing leadership and teaching abilities as well as contributing to the team with current talent, gifts and skill sets Demonstrates self-awareness and high initiative Available Tuesdays (required), Wednesdays and Sundays; with capacity for additional meetings and work hours as needed or required.
