In this role, you will be the key point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in property leasing, customer service, and legal administrative procedures will ensure a seamless experience for applicants while maintaining compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to vibrant communities by connecting people with their ideal homes and fostering positive relationships. Responsibilities Manage the full leasing cycle, including showing properties, explaining lease terms, and processing applications efficiently. Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite to enter data accurately, track leads, and maintain organized records. Ensure compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8, Fair Housing laws, and other relevant regulations during all leasing activities. Conduct legal administrative tasks such as preparing contracts, reviewing lease agreements, and managing documentation related to landlord-tenant law. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and enthusiasm. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to coordinate move-ins/move-outs and ensure properties are ready for new residents. Upsell available amenities or services to prospective tenants to enhance occupancy rates while maintaining ethical sales practices. Manage conflict resolution effectively by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to foster positive tenant relationships. Maintain filing systems, data entry accuracy, and records management in accordance with company policies and legal standards. Support facilities management activities related to property upkeep and ensure adherence to safety standards. Experience Proven experience in property leasing or real estate administrative roles, preferably within affordable housing programs utilizing LIHTC or Section 8 vouchers. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal contract procedures. Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus. Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities via phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions. Prior experience in sales or upselling within a property management context is advantageous. Demonstrated conflict management skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally. Office experience involving data entry, filing, administrative support tasks, and facilities management functions.
