Job Description

Primarily responsible for assisting Community Managers by providing effective customer service through in-depth knowledge of Community Governing Documents and management contracts.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support and other tasks as directed for the assigned Community Manager. Partners with AAM's Management Team to ensure compliance with State & Federal Assoc. Laws. Develops a working relationship with community board members and various committees. Answer and provide customer service to homeowner calls and emails. Assists with community inspections according to AAM's management contract. Attend evening Board meetings and assist with assigned post-meeting follow-ups. Assist in the preparation and attend annual meetings. As directed, assists with reviewing monthly financials and submits community accounts payable. As directed, assists in obtaining bid proposals. Prepares bid comparisons for manager and board review. Maintains accurate and current association records, calendars and website. Maintains meeting schedule and open communication with contract vendors. Maintains strict adherence to community and company deadlines. Works with Administrative Assistant with updates in community disclosure packages. Performs other duties as directed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong computer software and internet proficiency.
Excellent interpersonal skills:
positive written and verbal communication abilities.
Time Management:
the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Proven customer service experience, with a strong emphasis on problem resolution. Ability to interact and work positively and effectively with staff at all levels. Advanced communication skills (both verbally and written).
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Sitting in an office setting utilizing a computer and other office equipment. May be required to lift boxes, fill paper trays, and other minor physical tasks. Walking and/or driving throughout community as needed for inspections and other property needs as designated. Sitting and standing for moderate periods of time. Utilizing personal automobile for commuting to and from office and assigned communities.
