Job Description

Have you considered a career in Law Enforcement? This is a grant-funded position for candidates interested in working as a part-time Community Service Officer while attending a degree completion program/law enforcement training program. Upon successful completion of the program, the Cadet/CSO will be eligible to be hired as a Police Officer. You will gain valuable experience and the cost of school is covered as well!
Eligibility Requirements:
Candidate must meet the following criteria: •Possess a two or four-year degree from a regionally accredited college or university OR currently or previously enrolled and received credits in an accredited law enforcement degree program. •Candidates must be eligible to take the MN POST test no later than June 2028 Candidates must be able to meet the MN POST Board standards for police officer licensure.
