This pivotal role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective management of staff and resources. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in care, management, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or schizophrenia-related conditions. As a leader in this setting, you will champion compassionate care, foster a positive environment for residents and staff, and uphold the organization's commitment to excellence in elder and disability services. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all aspects of daily operations within the facility, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents with diverse needs such as schizophrenia, bi-polar, dementia, or developmental disabilities. Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance with healthcare standards. Manage staffing schedules, recruit qualified personnel, and provide ongoing training to maintain high standards of resident care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including case workers, and healthcare providers to optimize resident outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, incident reports, licensing requirements, and operational records. Oversee budgeting activities, resource allocation, and financial management to ensure sustainable facility operations. Foster a supportive environment that emphasizes dignity, respect, and personalized attention for all residents. Qualifications Proven experience in CSR setting environments with demonstrated supervisory responsibilities. Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, mental health care practices, and medication management. Strong background working with individuals with mental and developmental disabilities or in home & community care settings. Prior experience managing budgets, staffing schedules, and operational workflows efficiently. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and promote a culture of compassionate care. Relevant certifications in nursing or social work are highly desirable; prior group home experience is advantageous. Demonstrated understanding of resident-centered care plans and regulatory compliance standards.
