Community Service Officers - New Hope

The City of New Hope, located 8 miles northwest of downtown Minneapolis, with a population of approximately 22,000, is recruiting community service officers who are committed to building relationships with and serving our community. City leadership and residents are very supportive of law enforcement. The department operates from a very modern facility which opened in 2019 with excellent space to facilitate all aspects of policing and community engagement. Candidates must be team-oriented, passionate about serving others, and have very strong communication and interpersonal skills. CSOs assist members of the police department with animal control, patrol and related work. New Hope offers educational expense assistance and will work with community service officers that are enrolled in school and interested in pursuing advancement to the position of police officer.
