In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for residents, vendors, and staff, ensuring a positive living environment that fosters community spirit and operational excellence. Your expertise in property management, customer service, and legal regulations will drive resident satisfaction and uphold the integrity of our properties. Duties Oversee daily community operations, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, and other legal standards. Manage leasing activities including property tours, upselling units, and executing lease agreements with attention to detail. Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment. Handle tenant relations by resolving conflicts promptly through effective conflict management strategies and negotiation skills. Maintain accurate data entry in property management systems such as Yardi and OneSite; manage contracts, filing, and legal documentation efficiently. Conduct regular inspections of common areas and oversee property upkeep using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Facilitate communication via phone etiquette, emails, and in-person interactions to foster positive customer relationships. Support leasing efforts through sales techniques and upselling amenities or additional services to residents. Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless property operations. Prepare reports on occupancy rates, maintenance issues, legal compliance status, and resident feedback for management review. Experience Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on residential communities. Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, and Landlord-tenant law is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Yardi, OneSite or similar property management software; experience with CMMS systems is a plus. Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution, negotiation, and customer service within a fast-paced environment. Legal administrative experience related to contracts, lease agreements, or housing regulations enhances your candidacy. Office experience including data entry, filing systems, and general administrative tasks is essential. Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally. Skills in facilities management, property maintenance coordination, and landlord-tenant relations are highly valued. Ability to upsell services or amenities while maintaining a focus on resident satisfaction.
