Worcester Communities is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Community Manager to oversee all aspects of our vibrant community. In this pivotal role, you'll be empowered to develop and implement strategies that maximize financial performance, enhance resident satisfaction, and ensure operational excellence.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts, analyze financial statements, identify trends, and proactively recommend strategies and adjustments to achieve the highest possible net operating income. You'll have the autonomy to shape the community's success through effective cost control and revenue improvement programs.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee on-site teams, ensuring efficient operations, policy adherence, and a focus on achieving community goals. You'll monitor performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement improvements.
Problem Solving & Analysis:
Evaluate market conditions, participate in pricing strategy, and analyze data to make informed decisions that optimize community performance. You'll be a key player in positioning the community for success.
Customer & Resident Focus:
Cultivate excellent customer service and resident retention programs, ensuring a positive living experience.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to Fair Housing laws, company policies and procedures, and manage property risk effectively.
What You'll Bring:
Proven experience in multi-family or student housing management (1-3 years preferred). Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop budgets, analyze financial statements, and understand key operational concepts (NOI, etc.). Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on coaching, development, and performance management. Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Business Suite, and Entrata property management software. A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions. High school diploma or equivalent (required); CAM, CAPS, or CPM (preferred).
