Headquartered in Billings with properties throughout Montana, Wyoming and the greater Mountain West Region, Rove Management has a 28 plus year history in providing property and facilities management services. Rove Partners is seeking a Property Manager for a portfolio of managed properties.
General Position Summary:
The Property Manager will report to the Management Director. This position has primary responsibility for the day to day operation and management of a portfolio of properties, including tenant and vendor relations, preparing and managing the budgets, preparing monthly reporting, and supporting the overall financial objectives of the portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities:
Tenant Relations/Leasing Responsible for timely completion of tenant move in/move out checklist items Coordination and support (in tandem with the Director and or Facilities Manager) of capital and tenant improvements. Work with tenants to ensure all tenant requests and concerns are addressed in a timely fashion. Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants to boost tenant retention. Administration of tenant leases, including tracking and follow through on critical dates. Assist with leasing and renewals as directed by Director and property listing team, drafting leasing documents under Director's supervision. Financial Management Assist with preparing and implementing the annual budget and operating plan (under direction from the Director and Accounting Manager). Review and oversee maintenance of the budget and approval/coding of regular expenses. Monthly tenant collections. Preparation of monthly reports as directed by Director and Accounting Manager. Preparation of annual CAM reconciliations as directed by Director and Accounting Manager.
- Facilities Management Oversee general building operations, including regular coordination with vendors and maintenance team to maintain property equipment and appearance.
Work with maintenance team to resolve property challenges and ensure vendor compliance with scope. Preparation of vendor contracts. Assist with vendor selection as needed. Property visits and site inspections as needed.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- General/administrative office support including filing, processing mail, document preparation, records maintenance (including tenant and vendor insurance).
- Assist with answering and routing incoming phone calls, including processing payments over the phone as needed.
- Tenant and vendor database maintenance as needed.
- Approval of invoices, assistance with coding and processing as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to learn new software systems including management specific accounting (Appfolio) and work order (MRI Angus) software.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of people.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to use tact and diplomacy.
- Expert organizational skills.
- Ability to set own priorities to manage time and meet deadlines. High level of responsiveness, and ability to work with limited direction as a self starter.

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, four year degree preferred.
- Some real estate background strongly preferred.
