Job Description

The Community Impact Manager leads United Way of Chatham County's collective impact initiatives in support of the organization's mission and its Bold Goal to move 2,000 people out of poverty. This position serves as a backbone leader for collaborative community efforts that address the root causes of poverty and improve outcomes for children and families. Working in partnership with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, schools, healthcare providers, businesses and community members, the Community Impact Manager convenes stakeholders, facilitates cross-sector collaboration, coordinates shared strategies and manages community data and reporting efforts across collective impact initiatives. The Community Impact Manager serves as the primary staff lead for the Chatham Housing Collective (CHC) and the Chatham Success Network (CSN), while supporting the development and implementation of additional community impact strategies aligned with United Way's mission and Bold Goal.
