Job Description

Assistant LIHTC Regional Manager Position Overview The Assistant LIHTC Regional Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of apartment communities in NC, maintaining resident satisfaction, and ensuring the properties operate efficiently and profitably for Low-Income Housing Tax Credit properties. This role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. This position requires frequent travel to company properties throughout North Carolina during the workweek (Monday-Friday). Candidates must reside within a reasonable commute to Wilson, NC as the primary location. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day property operations, including leasing, renewals, and rent collection. Show and lease vacant apartments, ensuring units are ready for new residents. Prepare and distribute late rent notices, file eviction paperwork, and represent the company in court as needed. Order office supplies as required and manage inventory. Work directly with residents to address concerns and maintain high resident satisfaction. Communicate regularly with the corporate office regarding property performance, resident issues, and operational needs. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair services in the absence of a lead tech. Ensure compliance with all company policies, lease agreements, and fair housing regulations. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to leasing and financial operations. Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager or Corporate Office. Qualifications Proven experience in property management, leasing, or multifamily housing operations. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer service. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Yardi Software preferred. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Dependable, professional, and adaptable to an evolving work environment. Reliable transportation required. Employment depends on a background check in accordance with applicable laws. Experience working with LIHTC properties is preferred, but not required. Ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and marketing skills.
