Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Leasing Assistant fluent in Spanish to support our leasing operations. This role plays a key part in managing renewals, taking listing photos and marketing listings, rent adjustments, housing compliance, and tenant communication while maintaining strict adherence to Fair Housing laws . Key Responsibilities Run monthly leasing reports to track lease expirations, rental amounts, and market rent performance. Monitor active leases for renewals, rent adjustments, and applicable fees Prepare and send renewal offers before lease expiration; follow up with tenants and update systems. Collaborate with the leasing supervisor on rent rates, lease terms, and renewal approval. Send rent adjustment notices for month-to-month tenants. Work with subsidy organizations and caseworkers to maintain housing standards, schedule inspections, and complete required documentation. Check listed units for readiness, take property photos , list units through syndicated websites, and help facilitate showings or access for vendors. Answer incoming leasing calls and emails ; assist tenants with lease questions and provide clear, professional communication. Prepare and send lease amendments and ensure accurate data entry in AppFolio and Monday.com . Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local Fair Housing laws and company policies. Qualifications Fluent in Spanish preferred but not required. Previous experience in leasing, property management not required, customer service experience required Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through. Reliable transportation for property visits and inspections.
