  • $52,500 a year 4 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications CPR Certification Management Caregiving Providing care for clients Patient personal care assistance Full Job Description The Residential Manager will assist in administering ongoing operations and activities of continuous residential program.
Responsibilities include staff supervision and all aspects of client support.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide a minimum of 30 hours a week of direct care and teaching independent living skills and assist with/provide clients with personal care
  • Must have evening, weekend availability with the understanding that any shifts, including overnights may need to be covered should staff call out.
  • Arrange/Provide transportation for client
  • Assist clients with recreation/inclusion
  • Continually motivate and encourage clients to participate in all opportunities
  • Address staff concerns as needed; encourage staff to share ideas and suggestions
  • Provide staff with all necessary information needed to effectively carry out their job duties
  • Ensure proper communication of all individual issues/needs to all necessary parties; proactively teach/role model/guide staff on how to appropriately work with and interact with clients, other staff, families, and guardians Inform Program coordinator about pertinent issues
  • Attend ISP meetings
  • Facilitate staff meetings
  • Ensure proper and timely staff needs, scheduling, requirements, expectations and trainings
  • The employee agrees to cooperate with the agency during any inspection or investigation
  • Perform other duties as required by the nature of the position, or as requested by supervisor
