We believe true inclusion happens out in the world. Our programs are entirely integrated into the local area, focusing on community immersion, volunteerism, and employment. Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on, adaptable, and passionate Vocational Manager . You will lead a team dedicated to helping the individuals we support navigate the community, build life skills, explore volunteer paths, and secure meaningful jobs. Because we operate in real-world settings, this is a dynamic role that requires a leader who is ready to manage from the front—which includes stepping out into the field to support our individuals directly whenever team coverage is needed.
Key Responsibilities Program Leadership & Integration:
Oversee daily community-based activities, ensuring participants are actively engaged in meaningful community integration, volunteer sites, and employment pathways.
Direct Coverage & Adaptability:
Serve as the primary operational backup. In the event of staff call-outs or shortages, you will step into the field to provide direct care and coaching to ensure program continuity.
Staff Supervision & Mentorship:
Train, schedule, and support a team of community DSP's and job coaches.
Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure all daily tracking, progress notes, and individualized service plans (ISPs) are accurately maintained by your team.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), ideally in community-based or vocational settings.
Leadership:
1+ years of supervisory experience preferred, with a proven track record of being a reliable, flexible team player.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; human services degree a plus.
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication, and the capacity to handle scheduling changes on the fly.
Requirements:
Must pass a background check. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required, as this role involves traveling within the local community.

Competitive Compensation:
Annual Salary of $44,000•47,000, depending on experience.
Benefits Package:
