Opening with 156 thoughtfully designed apartment homes, The Emmet offers modern living, premium amenities, and an exceptional resident experience. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Property Manager to lead the lease-up, establish daily operations, and build a strong onsite team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the culture of a new community while driving occupancy, operational excellence, and resident satisfaction from opening day. Schedule Full-time, exempt position Typical onsite schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Additional hours may be required during lease-up periods, busy seasons, and special projects Responsibilities Lead the successful lease-up and opening of a new 156-unit apartment community Manage the day-to-day operations of the community Drive occupancy, leasing performance, resident retention, and overall property success Hire, train, supervise, and develop a high-performing onsite leasing and maintenance team Establish operational processes and customer service standards from day one Oversee leasing, marketing, renewals, budgeting, financial reporting, and resident relations Foster positive relationships with residents, prospects, vendors, and team members Conduct regular property inspections and ensure community standards are maintained Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and retention Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budget guidelines Prepare reports and maintain financial accountability for the property Coordinate vendor services and oversee contractor performance Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, company policies, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws Participate in company meetings, training sessions, and conferences as required Qualifications Required Minimum of five (5) years of multifamily Property Manager experience Demonstrated leadership experience hiring, training, and supervising onsite teams Strong leasing, sales, marketing, and resident retention background Proven ability to achieve occupancy and property performance goals Excellent customer service and resident relations skills Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities Proficiency with computers and property management software Basic financial, budgeting, and bookkeeping knowledge Preferred Previous lease-up experience Experience with RealPage property management software Why Join Burlington Capital Properties?
