Do you thrive in a leadership role where you can support both individuals and teams? If so, we invite you to bring your talents to the Autism Center of Nebraska as a Residential Manager . About the Role As a Residential Manager, you will play a key role in creating a supportive, respectful, and empowering environment for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. You'll lead and develop a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) while ensuring high-quality care and compliance within residential homes. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll make a direct impact—helping individuals grow their independence and live meaningful, connected lives in their communities. What You'll Do Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and support to DSPs Train and coach staff to ensure competency and confidence in their roles Promote the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served Oversee documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Foster a positive, respectful culture aligned with ACN's mission and values Collaborate with fellow managers, coordinators, and leadership team Address challenges proactively and support staff in delivering high-quality care What You'll Help Individuals Achieve Improved communication and social skills Daily living and personal hygiene independence Household management and life skills Community involvement and safety awareness Increased confidence and self-sufficiency What We're Looking For Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently Sound judgment and professionalism in a fast-paced environment Commitment to dignity, respect, and person-centered care Qualifications Minimum age of 19 High school diploma or equivalent (required) Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance Ability to speak and write clearly in English Availability Monday-Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with on-call availability for emergencies
Preferred:
2+ years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Training Provided First Aid/CPR Medication Aide certification MANDT training On-the-job training and continued professional development Why Join ACN?
