Nexus Properties is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and a positive, service-driven attitude to join our property management team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role supports the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the community, ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction and efficient property performance. Essential Functions Assist in the day-to-day management and operations of the property Maintain a detailed and accurate calendar for scheduled move-ins Ensure all apartments are inspected, prepared, and ready for occupancy Serve as a primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner Demonstrate the ability to effectively resolve resident concerns, escalating issues to the Property Manager as needed Coordinate maintenance requests with on-site maintenance staff and external contractors, ensuring timely completion and follow-up Communicate regularly with internal departments, vendors, contractors, and business partners to support property operations Provide residents with appropriate advance notice of scheduled inspections and property access Submit weekly payroll Appear in landlord/tenant court proceedings as required Participate in an on-call rotation to address after-hours emergencies Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Property Manager Other essential skills include but are not limited to:
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure Strong leadership and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional organizational and administrative abilities Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Strong customer service orientation with a focus on resident satisfaction Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to work Qualifications • Intermediate computer and Internet knowledge • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook • Prefer knowledge of the following software programs: MRI or other property management software • Bachelor's degree preferred Typical start time: 9AM Typical end time: 5

$60,000 + per year
