Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Multi Family Property Manager to lead the daily operations at our residential communities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring our leasing, administrative, and maintenance manager teams, third-party contractors, and overseeing property leasing, maintenance coordination, tenant relations, capital expenditures (CAP X) apartment and property renovations, and compliance with fair housing regulations. Duties Manage all aspects of property leasing, including conducting tours if needed, upselling units, and processing applications using Rent Manager's property management software Oversee tenant screening processes in compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure timely repairs and upkeep using CMMS or other maintenance tracking tools Handle legal administrative tasks related to lease agreements, contracts, and landlord-tenant law compliance Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and record-keeping for all property-related documents and tenant files Resolve tenant conflicts promptly through effective conflict management and negotiation skills Ensure adherence to LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations and other affordable housing programs Conduct regular inspections to monitor property conditions and coordinate necessary repairs or upgrades to apartments and property common areas, amenities Foster positive relationships with residents through excellent customer service and phone etiquette Support leasing efforts through sales techniques, upselling amenities, and customer relationship management strategies Skills Proven experience with property management software such as Yardi, Rent Manager, or similar systems. Strong knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8, Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally Effective conflict management, negotiation, and contract administration abilities Experience in real estate administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and legal documentation Familiarity with property maintenance procedures, apartment construction & common area renovations and facilities management practices Office experience with phone etiquette, customer relationship management (CRM), and administrative support tools Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to details Knowledge of legal administrative processes related to leasing agreements and regulatory compliance Bilingual in Spanish a Plus Join us as a Property Manager to make a meaningful impact on residents' lives while advancing your career in property management!
